Sea creatures of all sizes generate all the shapes and colors you can imagine. The extreme environmentalist would immediately say: makes you wish to live with them! And it surely does! Whoever has the chance to visit the underworld of our sea, will feel fascinated. Here on the island it’s very easy to get this opportunity, you just need to have the right level of fitness, go to a certified agency and make your way to the bottom of the sea. On the island we have great scuba diving professionals trained to provide full safety. In case you don’t fancy all this, you have the option to simply hire flippers and mask, go for a boat excursion and enjoy great snorkeling. It is enough to be under water to feel as part of this amazing world. To complete its beauty, the sea is adorned on its surface, by a coastline drawn and painted flawlessly by God. The natives used to say “tupã-ciretã”, which translated means: God lived here, that is why he was so thorough in building this place.
A nature which we can still consider as intact, with one of the major biodiversity on the planet, full of small bays, sea cliffs, mountains and valleys which, give the sea shores a truthfully architectural design. As you can see, a place that you must discover! Our island has a perimeter of approximately 120 km, with all the depths and marine diversity you can imagine. Come and enjoy it!
